Guest: Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart
Nature teaches us cooperation: the waste of some is raw material for others. This cycle 'from the cradle to the cradle' is what Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart, our guest today, is all about. Born in Swabia, he is co-developer of 'Cradle to Cradle' and co-author of the book 'Intelligent Waste', subtitled 'Towards a New Abundant Society'. He is the founder and scientific managing director of EPEA GmbH in Hamburg, the cradle of Cradle Cradle.
Michael Braungart is also a professor for the Cradle to Cradle course at Erasmus University Rotterdam and a visiting professor at the University of Virginia. Since 1994, he has lectured and published on the topics of realizing future-proof intelligent products, developing and implementing environmental protection concepts, environmentally compatible production processes, and life cycle assessments of complex consumer goods.
