Security and perspective instead of fear and loneliness<\/h3>

K\u00fcnzelsau,11.05.2021 - The young generation is united by the experience that their dreams have been shattered. Their lives have changed fundamentally within a year. Now a challenge of historic proportions awaits young people: they must shape their own and society's future after the crisis. To muster the courage and strength to develop a new vision and question their own values, they need security, perspective and support. The Gradido Academy has already developed the right model for this new start over the past 20 years. Around the common good currency 'Gradido', the economic bionics present the framework program for a fulfilled life in a lively community. And the doors of the free research institute are wide open to all who want to set out on the path to a future worth living.<\/strong><\/p>

Thwarted at the start<\/h4>

The term \"Generation Reset\" was coined by the youth researcher Simon Schnetzer. It encompasses adolescents and young adults who have been disrupted in a sensitive phase of their personality development. Many have lost a sense of control over their lives: \"Corona comes and goes eventually, what remains is the life-changing reset.\" Social and economic disruptions have fundamentally and permanently changed the lives and biographies of the younger generation. They have yet to regain trust in each other, the economy, politics and the future. The author of the recently published study \"Young Germans 2021\" concludes: \"What young people need most is a perspective. That they are no longer victims of the crisis and the system, but become part of the solution as shapers of the future.\"<\/p>

Digital know-how is not a jack of all trades<\/h4>

According to the renowned futurologist Klaus Hurrelmann, the prospects for a successful new start of the 'Generation Reset' are not bad at all. The Professor of Public Health and Education at the Hertie School of Governance advised the study. He reckons that well-educated and digitally affine young people will be courted even more by companies in the future, \"because everything is shifting to this mode of productivity.\" According to Schnetzer, however, \"digital education cannot replace what this society needs most right now: Participation and cohesion. According to the current study results, the most urgent wishes young people have for politics are: more opportunities to get involved, a better education system, more decisive action on climate protection, strengthening social cohesion, and a more social and ecological orientation of the economic system.<\/p>

Social media does not replace cohabitation<\/h4>

\"We want to give all young people a good future. For many, the protection of our natural foundations of life is very important,\" also warns Margret Baier, the owner of the Gradido Academy: \"To shift our social life even further into the digital would be the completely wrong path. The natural state is symbiosis. We need a new togetherness - together instead of lonely.\" This is also confirmed by a recent report by the NDR cultural journal. There, well-connected and professionally successful young people between the ages of 20 and 40 report very impressively on the agonizing loneliness in their lives. In her book of the same name, \"Die neue Einsamkeit\" (\"The New Loneliness\"), the young author Diana Kinnert also describes: \"All studies say that all young generations are extremely lonely, although we are actually the most accessible and networked generation of all time. And I interpret that as a retreat. And that is from excessive demands, complexity, acceleration and fragmentation.\"<\/p>

Young people have a right to desire and a living development<\/h4>

The renowned brain researcher Prof. Dr. Gerald H\u00fcther would also definitely put an end to this trend. On the Gradido podcast on \"Confidence, Security and Perspective,\" he said, \"It would be a disaster if we raise a generation of children to suppress their own living needs - to function like robots.\" (https:\/\/gradido.net\/de\/episode-15)<\/a> Kinnert blames the economy for the 'epidemic of the new loneliness': \"Young people today nomadise from job to job. There is no security. Trust and intimacy become ventures.\" And Bernd H\u00fcckst\u00e4dt, co-founder of the Gradido Academy for Economic Bionics also pleads for a transformation of the prevailing economic and financial system: \"We must regain the trust of young people by providing security, equal opportunities and the possibility to develop. And absolutely take into account everyone's need for exchange, closeness and community.\"<\/p>

The Gradido model, which economic bionics experts have developed over more than twenty years on the basis of nature's billion-year-old success models, can fulfil these wishes. Thanks to an 'Active Basic Income', every person has the possibility of 'Unconditional Participation'. He can contribute to the community with activities that he freely chooses and thus secure his livelihood. The best possible development of the individual becomes the declared goal of all, because only in this way can everyone make the greatest possible contribution to the community. An equitable education system is an obligatory part of this. Separate funds for state and environmental expenditures secure the supply of the community and the protection of nature. In addition, the model around the common good currency is based on the abandonment of the debt money principle. Instead, 3000 Gradido (GDD) are created per capita, which are used in equal parts for the Active Basic Income, the State Fund and the Environmental Fund. A gift to the youth, who will thus be relieved of the fear of inheriting insurmountable mountains of debt. And a whole new chance for the joyful and trusting coexistence of different generations.<\/p>

The need for closeness is systemically relevant<\/h4>

At the end of her impressive book, Diana Kinnert says: \"The need for closeness is systemically relevant.\" The business bionics experts at the Gradido Academy have also based their model on this insight, thus creating the basis for a form of coexistence that takes this elementary need into account as well as the great desire for trusting coexistence and personal fulfillment through development. \"This may sound like utopia,\" economic biologist H\u00fcckst\u00e4dt elaborates, \"but now that the recent crisis has made the many flaws in the prevailing system so abundantly clear, now would be the ideal time to try, as an alternative, the path that nature so willingly lays out for us - so that we can all finally live together cared for and fulfilled. Our children deserve this chance, and hopefully they will seize it.\"<\/p>
