Dear Reader,
before we get to our important topic today, please allow us to ask:
"Are you an Imago cell"?
Imago - What??
Now, when the time of the caterpillar comes to an end, new types of cells form - at first sporadically - that already carry the image of the colorful butterfly full of life. They are called 'imago cells'. Initially, they are fiercely fought by the old caterpillar cells. But as time goes by, the Imago cells become more and more. They recognize each other and connect. They create parallel structures and make themselves as comfortable as possible within a caterpillar. Each Imago cell brings its own special abilities into the community. Little by little, the new cell communities become larger and more numerous. Like mushrooms, they appear everywhere and network to form a large whole, until the old caterpillar is no longer there. Then all at once a beautiful butterfly hatches from the chrysalis and rises into the air with ease and joy.
Are you also an Imago cell? Yes? Then you will notice that you meet more and more people who - each in his own way - contribute to the metamorphosis of the old caterpillar system to a new butterfly epoch of the human family.
The new time will be characterized by appreciation, gratitude and loving togetherness - and this among very different people.
But there are still many steps to be taken before that happens. Because while everything out there is getting more expensive and more uncertain, billions of dollars are being burned abroad, the old debt-money system is collapsing with ever louder crashes, and the usual suspects are the next catastrophic pandemic rehearsals - this time with a focus on our children(!) - the anxious question arises:
On Day X, when Gradido is needed worldwide, will we be ready together to install a just and peaceful monetary and economic system on Earth - for the sake of ourselves, our children, and all the children of Earth?
It is often the quieter people who quietly, diligently and with heart and soul create the foundations for great developments. Our Developer have done great preparatory work in recent months that will come to fruition in 2023. On the one hand, they choose the most secure technologies for the development, and on the other hand, they make every effort to make the operation as simple and intuitive as possible for us users. Maybe you have already noticed how you are getting along more and more easily and hardly need support anymore?
We Imago people are many and becoming more and more. Not all of us are concerned with the peaceful transformation of the financial system, and still few understand that this is the Archimedean point at which we must apply the lever to bring about change - the liberation of the human family.
Because whoever has the power over money has the power. Or to put it another way:

With Gradido, we as a human family have the tool in our hands to regain control over money, and to create prosperity and peace for all - in harmony with nature. This begins with the creation of money by each individual in decentralized networked communities, through freedom through the self-created Active Basic Income, to sociocratic decision-making structures on the use of the public budget and the Equalization and Environmental Fund.
For Gradido to spread easily, it must be fun. This makes it attractive to young people as well. It may become an easy-to-use playful tool for the development of potential, self-confidence and creativity.
In exchange, the Gradido account gets a modern appealing light round design that is designed to be universal enough to keep open the many future features that are yet to come.
Originally, it was supposed to be a Christmas present for the Gradido community. Now we can be patient until mid-January and enjoy the anticipation until then. 😊
Let's see what our programmers have achieved in the past year
The following functions were developed in 2022:
- New homepage in responsive design (suitable for computer and mobile)
- Multilingualism
- Five languages integrated, two more in preparation
- Gradido link and QR code: just send to any Gradido
- Automated links and QR codes for starting credits, etc.
- Enter common good contributions directly in the account
- Engage in dialogue with users about public benefit contributions via queries
- Email notifications when commenting and confirming common good posts
- Many other improvements
- Preparation of the decentralized community servers
- Preparation of the new design
- Automatic tests
- LogFiles, i.e. logging of most actions in order to be able to quickly trace possible errors

The last two points are tremendous diligences that you probably benefited greatly from without realizing it.
Or did you notice,
- that the software continued to run reliably through all the many upgrades,
- that no hacker attacks became noticeable,
- that the Gradido account was practically always online,
- that you could send and receive Gradido via links (with accompanying text) and QR codes without problems?

To ensure this high level of security, we also write automatic tests for practically all functions at the same time. The current test coverage is about 95% in most areas. Every change must first pass all tests, otherwise it will not enter the software.

We owe all of this to our wonderful community, you dear Imago people, who have ensured that our programmers can do their valuable work with your generous support contributions and memberships. We feel your hearts are in it. You give us the certainty that together we are on the right track.
For your support contributions we thank you from the bottom of our hearts with the multiple of GradidoTransform. As you probably already know, we will credit your Gradido account with at least 15 GDT for each Euro. From 1.000 € it is 16-fold and from 10.000 € even 18-fold. GradidoTransform (GDT) are points of gratitude for the time of transformation. In contrast to the Gradido they are not subject to transience. They serve the transformation and can later be converted 1:1 into Gradido - a wonderful 'starting capital' for the new time.

On March 23, 2023, we will increase all GDT account balances by an additional 23 %. All funding contributions received by midnight on that date will participate.

We wish you that you can look them full of joy in the eyes and say: "Yes, I was such an Imago cell back then. It was often not easy, but I am proud to have contributed my part that our beautiful earth has now become again the paradise as which it was probably once intended. And I am infinitely grateful that we can now live a life worth living together as a human family - in prosperity, peace and harmony with nature."
